They have won all of their matches they have played so far. Real has played a total of 5 matches since the restart. Their first match was against Eibar that resulted in a win.
Their second match was against Valencia at home and Real won that by a score of 3-0 where Benzema scored a brace. Real had their match against Real Sociedad away from home and won that by a narrow margin of 2-1. The next game was again a home game against the bottom side Mallorca. It was a pretty comfortable game for them in they had their second clean sheet since the restart and won the match 2-0. Their latest one was away to a Catalan side Espanyol where they won again and went to the top of the table.

This can be a reason for his exclusion from the squad that Los Blancos want to save him for the bigger games when the options will be less for them. Los merengues have some quality wingers in their team with the likes of Vinicius Jr who is one of the paciest strikers in La Liga this season and also one more Brazilian in the shape of Rodrygo who was signed at the start of the season.
Luka Jovic who was out of the team for a long time is back in the squad. Also, a very popular name is back on the squad list in the form of Lucas Vasquez. He was out due to his injury he received in the quarantine. It will be very interesting to see their role in the side today. Both of them have something in them to offer for the team. Zidane will monitor both of them' recovery and will also keep an eye on whether they are fit to play or not. Now, the only big name who is out due to injury is their centre back Nacho.
