Uefa champions league draws took place on 10th July. All the remaining games will be played behind closed doors in Portugal and Germany. Initially, it was suggested by Uefa that the rest of the season will be played in Portugal only. But later they confirmed that Germany will also host some matches of the knockout stages. We all know that the champions league was suspended four months ago in March and is scheduled to be restarted in the second week of August. There is still four round of 16 matches left to be played between Barca vs Napoli, Man City vs Real Madrid, Chelsea vs Bayern Munich, and Juventus vs Lyon.  We will be watching some mouth-watering games in the quarter-finals of the champions league as Barca, Bayern, Man City, Real Madrid, and Juventus are all drawn in one group. Real Madrid has been in superb form since the return of football to Europe. They have played seven games in La Liga so far and have won all of them scoring 13 goals to secure all 21 points. They are currently one point ahead of Barcelona on the league table with one game in hand. Barcelona has helped them a lot in their cause. Juventus has been in splendid form since the resumption of Serie A in Itlay. They had scored 13 goals in the last four games before yesterday's game. Their very first game after the restart was against Bologna away from home that they won 2-0. Their second game was against Lecce at home that they won with a huge score of 4-0. Their actual restart of the season was not very good. They had their first match after the suspension due to the pandemic against Ac Milan in the Coppa Italia semi-final and resulted in a draw. Next up it was Napoli in the final of the competition where Juventus had a goalless draw in the regular time. Since football has restarted in Spain there have been a lot of questions about the refereeing in the league. A lot of accusations have been made on the referees and they have been alleged of supporting Real Madrid since the resumption of La Liga. All this drama started after a comment from the Barca defender Gerard Pique when he said that Madrid is being favored by the referees in the league. This was denied first by Zinedine Zidane in a press conference before Real Sociedad game and he replied by saying that I don't care about anyone's comment. He added that everyone has his own distinctive point of view about a certain thing and has his own right to present in his own way. Juventus had a rough start after the resumption of football across Europe. They played their first game against Ac Milan in the semi-final of Coppa Italia where they drew 0-0 and the most notable thing was that Ronaldo missed a penalty in that match. They qualified for the final due to their first leg away goal in Milan. Their second match was the Coppa Italia final against Napoli in Rome. That match also finished in a goalless draw and went straight to the penalty shootout without having extra time due to the COVD-19 pandemic. They lost on penalties by a score of 4-2.
