Their next match was against a very strong side valencia again at home and won that game very easily by a score of 3-0. In their last three matches, they have scored one goal pr match but they have also kept a clean sheet. Against Espanyol, it was Casemiro who gave them the lead that continued till the end of the match. Next up it was Getafe who played great football against Real and didn't give them any chances in defense and attack. Real Madrid were bound to face Valencia at home on Thursday night. It was a really important game for the Los Blancos in the context of the league. With 5 points behind Barca they needed to win that game badly. Real Madrid started with a 4-4-2 combinatio where Benzema and Hazard were the only forwards. Real started the game on high note pressing the ball high in the opposing teams field and creating threats for them but none of them went into to the net. Valencia stabled after 15 minutes and started to build up. Most important play of the first half was Rodrygo's dissallowed goal. It was an important part of the game. If that goal would have been allowed then Real were under immense pressure. But luckily that goal was dissallowed due to offside.
