Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are the two players who have been ruling football for a decade. They both have won the most prestigious awards more times than anyone else. Not only the awards they are also rulings the hearts of the people across the globe. Both Cristiano and Messi have won the biggest individual football award FIFA BALLON d’Or the most times than anyone else has in his career. Messi has won six in his career whereas Ronaldo has won five. Out of the last twelve awards, they have won this eleven times in total. The only player who won the trophy out the last twelve was the Croatian midfielder Luka Modric due to his performances in the World cup and also his contribution to Real Madrid’s champion league victory.
