Juventus had a rough start after the resumption of football across Europe. They played their first game against Ac Milan in the semi-final of Coppa Italia where they drew 0-0 and the most notable thing was that Ronaldo missed a penalty in that match. They qualified for the final due to their first leg away goal in Milan.

Their second match was the Coppa Italia final against Napoli in Rome. That match also finished in a goalless draw and went straight to the penalty shootout without having extra time due to the COVD-19 pandemic. They lost on penalties by a score of 4-2.

After the first two games, it was necessary for them to make a strong comeback which they did against Bologna against their match on Tuesday. They won that game 2-0 with a goal from Ronaldo and Dybala. Ronaldo scored the first goal of the match from a penalty kick in the 23rd minute. Dybala scored a magnificent goal from just outside the box with an assist from Bernadesci in the 36th minute of the match.

That win took them 4 points ahead of Lazio who are currently are number 2. Lazio still had one game left when Juve won against Bologna.

Lazio had a tough game against Atalanta on Wednesday night away from home. They lost that match 3-2, where their main striker Ciro Immobile was unable to make an impact in the match. After losing 3 points away from home they are four points behind the league leaders who are set to win their 10nth straight league title.

Juventus will be playing against Leece today at home. They have some players missing due to injuries such as Chiellini, Higuain, Sandro, Khedira, De Sciglio, and Danilo who is suspended as he received a red card in his last appearance.

Juventus were on the verge of winning their ninth consecutive league title yesterday night. If they could have beaten Udinese in the last match they would have won the league. Cristiano Ronaldo's team was very much favorites to win that match before the start of the game as per their form this season. The defending champions were unable to display their natural game. The first goal of the match was scored by the Old Lady's main defender in the match Matthijs De Ligt . The first half ended in a 1-0 lead for Juve.
