Real Madrid won their ninth game since the restart of La Liga. They have been in superb form and have won all the games they have played so far since the resumption of football.

Los Blancos played their ninth game since the restart against Granada away from home on Monday last night. Although all the games are played behind the closed doors but still home ground matters a lot in the context of the match.

Los merengues started the match in their usual style. Real took the lead in the 10th minute of the match when Ferland Mendy lashed a shot with his left foot from the end of the side close to the corner.

Just after the goal of Mendy Real has an attack again. Their top scorer of the season Karim Benzema scored a beautiful second goal for his team in the 16th minute of the match.

Granada did come back in the second when the halved the deficit in the 50th minute scored by Darwin Marchis. It was due to the defensive mistake of Varane and also it should have been stopped by Real's number 1 Thibaut Courtois.

The home side was unable to do any more damage to the 33 times champions and Real won that match with a score of 2-1 in their favor.

That was their 25th win of the season in La Liga and that win took them four points ahead of the Catalans in the title race with just two games remaining for each side. Los Blancos will face Villarreal at home in their next game. The last match for the league leaders will be away from home against Leganes.

On the other hand, Barcelona has not been at its best since the restart. They have lost six points drawing three games in the process against Sevilla, Celta, and Atletico Madrid respectively. Barca's remaining games will be against Osasuna and Alaves.
