Cristiano Ronaldo misses out on a Serie A record
Cristiano Ronaldo is a player who has made records where ever he has played throughout his illustrious career.
He has scored 31 league goals this season meaning that he has become only the fourth player to score 30 plus goals in a single Serie A season since 1960.
Juventus will play against Roma tonight and that will be a huge game for the Old Lady. They have announced their squad for that match which they play at home.
Big news about the squad is that they have left Cristiano Ronaldo out of the squad and also have taken away his chances of breaking a Serie A record for his current club.
Ronaldo has scored a total of 31 league goals this season and he was just one goal away from breaking the record of Felice Borel for the most goals in a single Serie A season for Juventus.
Borel scored the same amount of goals as Cr7 has in the 1933-34 season. He also holds the record for the most goals in a single season in all the competitions for the Old Lady.
He managed to score a tally of 36 goals in the same season and no one has ever surpassed him till now. Cristiano's total goals in the season are standing at 35 at the moment.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner will miss out on the first record but will still have some matches to break the second record. Juve is due to play their remaining champions league matches.
Their first match will be the second leg of the round of 16 against Lyon in Portugal. Two times champions league winners lost their first leg 1-0 away from home.
Champions League will be played after a revised format and schedule. It will also be played at neutral venues.
Ronnie is known as the king of the champions league or Mrs champions league as he scored the most amount of goals in the competition. He has won 5 Ucl titles in his career where he won one with United and four with Real Madrid.
It is yet to be seen whether Cristiano will break that record or not?
