Cristiano Ronaldo has picked up form since the restart of the Italian league. When football was resumed at the start of June in the last month, he looked out of touch. Juve was a huge disappointment in the Coppa Italia. They drew their very first match after the restart against Ac Milan where Cristiano Ronaldo missed a penalty. Then in the final, they lost to Napoli on penalties.

Soon after that Serie A started but this time Juve proved to be a different side then what we saw in the Coppa Italia. Juventus has won all of the four games they have played so far in the league. Their first match was against Bologna away from home that they won 2-0. Then the next game was at home against Lecce that they won 4-0 scoring four goals for the first time this season.

Next up it was away at Genoa which they won comfortably due to some incredible goals by Dybala, Ronaldo, and Costa. Their latest one was at home against Torina, again it was an amazing match where Juve scored four including a free-kick goal from Cristiano Ronaldo.



In all those four games their main man and number 7 Cristiano Ronaldo has scored. In the first two games, he scored from a penalty spot. But in the next two games, he scored some crackers. He scored an amazing goal against Genoa from outside the box with a ferocious hit. Against Torino, in the derby, he scored his first-ever free-kick goal for Juventus. He scored with a different run and a changed stance.

With the goal against Torino, he has taken his goal tally to 25 goals in the league this season. He has become the only player for Juventus to score 25 or more goals in a single Serie A season since 1962. His total tally for the season in all competitions has reached to 29 goals for the season, one more than what he scored in the previous season.

With these goals, he is close to breaking some big records for Juventus. The highest goals scored for Juventus in a single season is 32 scored by Felic Borel in 1932. Since then no one has ever crossed him but this season Cristiano has a chance to break that record. With the form, he is in and considering that there are still eight games remaining for them in Serie A we can assume that he will score more than that and will break that record easily.

Not just that he is close to breaking another one and that is the most goals scored by a Juventus player in a single season in all competitions. Ferenz Hirzer has the record of most goals in a single season, he scored way back in 1925/26 season. He scored 35 goals in that season and Cristiano has 29 in total where 25 have come in the league, 2 in the league cup, and the other 2 in the Uefa champions league group stage. Juventus still has eight Serie A games and a round of 16 ties in the champions league against Lyon, they have lost the first leg 1-0 away from home but they are the favorites to win that match.

The form in which Cr7 is currently in, he is very likely to break the above records very easily. He is also in the race to win the Uefa golden boot 2020 and is currently standing at number 4 in the race just behind to Lewandoski, Immobile, and Werner. He has won that award 4 times before, once for United and thrice for Real Madrid.

Juventus are currently on the top of the league with 7 points. Lazio lost their latest encounter against Ac Milan and helped Juve to clinch the number one spot with 7 points. If Juve is to win the league title and then the champions league title for which they signed their number 7 Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid then Ronaldo needs to fire goals till the end and need to play the football he is playing right now. Juventus fans and their coach will expect from Ronaldo the same kind of performances in the remaining matches of the season.
