Real Madrid back to top of the league after a win away at Sociedad



Real Madrid had a game against Real Sociedad away from home. Real Madrid are in a great form after the restart of the league.

The match started at 10pm according to the Spanish local time. Zidane's team entered with a 4-3-3 formation. There were three changes from the side that started against Valencia. James Rodriguez, Vinivius Jr, and Marcelo started the game in place of Modric, Hazard, and ferland Menday.

The first half of the game was pretty even in terms of the chances for each time. The best chance of the half was for Vinicius who missed. Other than that there was no serious chances for Real. But, even in so less attacking half Real Madrid dominated in the Midfield and in attack is well.

It was the second half in which Real got their first goal. That was from a penalty scored by their captain Sergio Ramos in the 50th minute of the game. After scoring the goal Ramos got injured that led to his substitution. Militao entered for Ramos and did a pretty much average job.

The most controversial moment of the game came close to 70th minute of the game in which Real Sociedad had a goal rejected due to a players intervene who was offisde and was blocking the view of Real Madrid goalkeeper. Soon after that Real Madrid main man Karim Benzema scored the second goal of the match for Real from an assist from Fede Velverde. Sociedad did put one back in the 83rd minute but in vain. This win took Real Madrid to the top of the Spanish league.

Barca lost 2 points in a very crucial game against Sevilla. That games put the ball in Real Madrid's court. If Real Madrid win all of their remaining games they will win the league title. If Real win all the games and Barca also win all of their games then they will level on the points table. We all know that La Liga has a rule which says that if two teams get level on points table then check their head to head battle. As we know that Real Madrid drew the first Classico at the Camp Nou and won the second one at home 2-0 where Vinicius and Mariano scored goals respectively. So, Real are winnnig on head to head battle. So, by winning all the games Real will be surely win the league.
