Juventus just in winning distance from Serie A title after their win against Lazio

Paulo Dybala Reveals He Told Cristiano Ronaldo He's Hated in ...

Juventus moves in just winning distance after their win against Lazio at home. Juve had one of their most important matches of the season last night against a team who has been chasing them in the title race for a long time.

The match was a home game for the champions. The first goal of the match was scored by their main man and also their top scorer in all competitions so far and that is Cristiano Ronaldo. He scored in the 51' minute from the penalty spot and gave Juve 1-0 lead.

Soon after he scored his first, he scored his second one just after five minutes with an assist from Paulo Dybala. That was his 30th Serie A goal of the season and 51st Serie A goal in total.

In between that he created history by being the fastest to reach 50 Serie A goals ever beating the previous record of Shevchenko who achieved the milestone in 68 appearances compared to CR7's 61 appearances.

He also became the first player in history to score 50 plus goals in Serie A, La Liga, and Premier League. He with his second became only the third player in the last sixty years to score 30 plus Serie A goals in a single season after Gonzalo Higuain and Luka  Toni. Later, Immobile also joined that crew.

Stat Attack: Cristiano Ronaldo Has Actually Been Brilliant for ...

He is currently at 30 league goals and is on his way to win the Uefa Golden Boot 2020. He is on level terms with Immobile and is just four goals away from Robert Lewandoski. If he manages to score few more goals then he will be able to make history with Juventus as he will become the top scorer ever for the champions in a single season.

Coming back to Juve vs Lazio, the away side came back into the 83' when Immobile was tripped down by Juve's captain Leonardo Bonucci. He later converted that spot-kick into his 30th goal of the Serie A season.

Juventus won that match 2-1 and went eight points past Inter Milan on the points table. Juve are currently on eight points with Inter on 72 and with four games remaining it is looking impossible for any team in the league to chase them and beat them in the race to the title.

If the Old Lady wins the title again this year then this will be their ninth consecutive Serie A title. As League stands they are looking clear champions.
