Sergio Ramos injured at the most crucial point of the season



Real Madrid won the most important game of the restart. They had a game against Real Sociedad and won the by a score of 2-1.

First goal the game was scored by Sergio Ramos himself from the spot kick. He sent keeper the wrong way and placed the ball into the corner. Real Sociedad had a goal disallowed at the 70th minute. In the next minute, Benzema scored the second goal of the night for Real. Sociedad scored to half the lead but that was too little too late. Real Madrid went to the top of the league by that win.

The most worrying moment for Real Madrid supporterd and their coach came in 52nd minute when Ramos after a hit from opposition's attacker got injured. He limped for the remaining 10 minutes he stayed on the pitch. Eventually, he was substituted with Eder Militao at the 61st minute who had a fairly good game after the departure of Ramos.

At this stage of the season an injury to Ramos will prove costly for Los Blancos. Ramos is one of team's main man who not only controls their defence but also is a leader and a motivator for the group. He is the most experienced player of the team. Also, he is the best defender in the World and his stats shows his ability.

Although there is no official statement on his injury and his return date, but from the look of things we can imagine him to miss 3 to 4 games at the final stages of the tournament. There will be test carried on about the injury and how it will effect him. Official report will also come soon and then we will know exactly what is the injury and how long we can expect him to stay out of the team.

The best thing happened for Real yesterday night was that after the match they moved back to the top of the league. And from now their destiny is in their own hands. If Real Madrid win all the matches then they will draw level on the points table with Barcelona assuming that Barca also win all of their games. In La Liga there is a rule that says that if two teams level on points at the top of the table then their head to head in the league decided who wins. As we know Real has drawn one Classico and has won the second one at home 2-0. So Real are at an advantage in the head to head battle.

The problem for them is the injury to their main man. Zinedine Zidane will be hoping that the injury is not too serious and his captain can make a comeback into the side as soon as possible.

Juventus made to wait longer for the title by udinese

Juventus were on the verge of winning their ninth consecutive league title yesterday night. If they could have beaten Udinese in the last match they would have won the league. Cristiano Ronaldo's team was very much favorites to win that match before the start of the game as per their form this season. The defending champions were unable to display their natural game.
