Juventus have started their league campaign with a 2-0 win against Bologna away from home. It was a must-win game for them especially in the circumstances they are in. Their first two games were very underwhelming, in reaction to which their fans and their coach showed angry reactions. To keep the situation in their hands they had to win that match.

Juventus started the match well. They created a lot of chances from the beginning of the match. They got their first real chance in the 23rd minute when they were awarded a penalty after a foul on Mattijss de ligt. Cristiano Ronaldo took the penalty and scored his 22nd goal of the season. That goal also took him one past he had in the last campaign. he can expect many more to come from his boots with 11 more games remaining in the league for Juve. The second goal of the game was scored by the right-winger Paulo Dybala who scored a brilliant goal from a brilliant Juventus build up assisted by Bernadesci.

That second goal took Ronaldo's tally of goal in Seria A history to 43 goals as he scored 21 in the last campaign and 22 in this one. That second goal made history for him and he became the top Portuguese scorer in Serie A history. The previous record was held by Rui COst a former Portuguese international who played for Fiorentina and Ac Milan and scored a total of 42 goals.

We all know that Ronaldo holds the same record in his previous league is well. He has previously played for Manchester United and Real Madrid in Premier league and La Liga respectively. He scored 84 premier league goals for United and won three premier league titles with them. He also won a champions league and Ballon d'Or with them.

He moved to Spain in 2009 for a record-breaking fee at that time. He was the costliest player when he was bought by Real Madrid which was later broken by his former teammate Gareth Bale who was bought by Ral in 2013. Ronaldo played in 9 seasons for Real Madrid. He scored 50 goals in 6 consecutive seasons for them and won 2 leagues and 4 champions league titles with them. He scored 311 La Liga goals in 292 matches for Real Madrid becoming only the second player after Lionel Messi to score 300+ goals in La Liga. He is also the all-time leading top scorer for Real Madrid.

He departed from Real in 2018 when he moved to Italy. He scored 21 goals in his first Seria A which was below the standard he had set in the previous years. But still, he won the best Serie A player award at the end of the season. Everyone expected him to come back to the scoring form he was known for. So, he did and scored more goals at a better average than the last season. He has scored 22 goals so far in his 23 games he has played for the club this season.

He is a player who makes history everywhere he goes. He is the all-time leading top scorer in Uefa Champions league history. He has won 3 Uefa best player awards in his career.

Juventus fans and their coach will have all eyes on Ronaldo to give them more goals and eventually more trophies. They are eyeing on the bigger prize this season and that is the champions league. Ronaldo is also known as Mr champions league due to unmatchable records in the competition. So, all of their hopes are on him to get the trophy after a long time.
