 Season 2019-20 was full of difficulties for the players across Europe. And the main reason for it is the Corona Virus pandemic. The season and the pandemic both are not over yet. All the league across Europe has ended now only champions league is remaining.

 Last season Lionel Messi won the award by scoring 36 goals in the season. His arch-rival Cristiano Ronaldo scored on 21 league goals last season. Cristiano and Messi are both in the mix this season is well. This season it was a very tight race but the names on the top of the charts are pretty different from the past.

 This season immobile has won the award with 36 goals.

 Here is a list of top 10 players in the Uefa golden boot race 2019/20.

1) Ciro Immobile:

  On the number one spot, it is Lazio's Ciro Immobile with 36 goals. He was the top scorer in the 2013/14 and 2017/18 season in Serie A.

 He has won his first Uefa Golden Boot of his career.

 Robert Lewandoski has been stupendous form since the season has started. He has scored a total of 34 league goals in 31 appearances for Bayern Munich in this Bundesliga season.
3) Cristiano Ronaldo:

 On number 5 there is the four-times winner Cristiano Ronaldo who plays for Italian club Juventus. He didn't start the season with the way he often does but he proved a thorn in the Italian defenses.

He has finished his league season at 31 goals and he is on the third spot.

  Lukaku, as expected, has finished in the top 10 after the end of the season. He has scored 23 goals earning him 46 points in total.
8) Jamie Vardy:

   He is from the same league from where Haaland came. He has scored a total of 30 goals in the Austrian Bundesliga.

He is on the ninth spot because he plays in a league where they earn 1.5 points per goal.

Juventus were on the verge of winning their ninth consecutive league title yesterday night. If they could have beaten Udinese in the last match they would have won the league.
