Season 2019-20 was full of difficulties for the players across Europe. And the main reason for it is the Corona Virus pandemic. The season and the pandemic both are not over yet. All the league across Europe has ended now only champions league is remaining.

Last season Lionel Messi won the award by scoring 36 goals in the season. His arch-rival Cristiano Ronaldo scored on 21 league goals last season. Cristiano and Messi are both in the mix this season is well. This season it was a very tight race but the names on the top of the charts are pretty different from the past.

This season immobile has won the award with 36 goals.

On number 5 there is the four-times winner Cristiano Ronaldo who plays for Italian club Juventus. He didn't start the season with the way he often does but he proved a thorn in the Italian defenses.

He is one of the brightest stars of the future. He is just 19 years old and plays for Borussia Dortmund. He has scored a total of 29 goals but his first 16 came for his old club RB Salsburg that plays in Austrian Bundesliga and 1 goal in that league counts as 1.5 points.

 Lukaku, as expected, has finished in the top 10 after the end of the season. He has scored 23 goals earning him 46 points in total.


8) Jamie Vardy:
